HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED COUNSELING?
There are many reasons why you could benefit from counseling. Maybe you are feeling sad, stressed, or overwhelmed, and aren’t sure where to go from here. Maybe you have experienced a crisis, such as a major life change, or the loss of a loved one. Maybe you just need your own place to process your feelings, and learn to cope in a healthier manner. If you are asking yourself if you might need to talk to someone, now is the time to reach out.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I am an in-network provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO plans. If you have PPO coverage through another insurance company, with out of network benefits, I can give you the information needed for you to file claims in order to be reimbursed for our sessions. Please contact me at (678)-622-1178 to find out more about how I work with your particular insurance plan.
DO I HAVE TO USE MY INSURANCE?
No, you have the right to decide who is privy to your private health information, and to determine the length/course of your therapy. Even if you have insurance, you can still choose to pay of out pocket and bypass insurance. This keeps your private health information safe from others, and no official mental health diagnosis will be given. I am happy to further discuss the pros and cons of using your insurance benefits prior to making your first online counseling appointment.
HOW LONG WILL I BE IN COUNSELING?
The answer to that question varies for everyone. Each client’s needs and goals they want to accomplish in counseling are different. My intention is to help you achieve these goals and guide you towards a healthier state of being, not to keep you in counseling indefinitely.
