Your anxiety is lying to you!
Anxiety can sometimes take hold of our minds, making us feel overwhelmed and uncertain. But, there are ways to manage and overcome these thoughts.
1.) Acknowledge that anxious thoughts are often not reality. These negative thoughts often stem from worries and the “what ifs” that our minds create. My clients know I’m always asking, “Where’s your evidence?” when it comes to anxiety. Take a step back and remind yourself that these thoughts are often not the truth.
2.) You have the power to challenge and reframe anxious thoughts. Question their validity and consider alternative perspectives. How much do you really believe what your anxiety is telling you? What could be true instead?
3.) Reach out to trusted friends, family, or professional Therapists who can provide support and guidance. You don’t have to face anxiety or panic attacks alone. Counseling can help. Contact me thru the appointment request button and let’s talk about how I can help!
